"If you don't think that Nellie Gomez would be the best mom ever, you are wrong"Oh my gosh just IMAGINE: Nellie announcing to Dan and Amy that she's pregnant (with Sammy's nerd baby of course) and Dan flipping out and Amy being ecstatic. The whole family betting on whether it'll be a boy or a girl. Amy, Nellie and Sinead (because she WILL be back by then) going baby-clothes shopping and spending waaaay too much time picking shoes because tbh there is nothing cuter than little baby shoes. Nellie making all kinds of weird food for herself and claiming that it's perfectly normal to combine Mexican and French cuisine and top it with pickle-flavored ice cream. The baby being born and everyone in the family seeing him/her for the first time and even Ian thinks it's "alright for a pink-skinned potato" (and he's genuinely happy because Cara is out of his life and he has a new lady that doesn't kidnap innocent hackers and steal their identity). Nellie and Sammy are constantly using baby talk with their kid and Dan gets super annoyed with it. Sammy is trying to teach the baby science and chemistry when it's a two-month-old and Nellie just laughing at him for it. The family just accepts the new baby as a new little Cahill and all of them promise to protect Nellie and Sammy's kid during whatever is to come.Pretty much just a whole bunch of cuteness.
Sorry this is kind of unrelated to the post I just got the image in my head and was overloaded with T39C feels
Oh my gosh YES!!!!!! Yes yes yes!!! And then the baby grows up a bit to an adorable little two year old, and Nellie is going nuts because he/she (I can't decide which) has finally learned to walk, and while she's ecstatic, SHE CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THIS KID! And she'll finally find the baby sitting happily in the middle of the kitchen floor, pouring spices everywhere. Nellie can't even bring herself to be mad, because she can buy some more cinnamon or thyme anytime, she just loves it that MAYBE this little baby will love food as much as she does. Sammy is convinced the baby was comparing the two spices chemically but Nellie keeps insisting, "Sammy, the baby is TWO!" But Sammy will not be dissuaded. And the baby would be the most hip two year old ever, with high-top sneakers and tiny band t-shirts, and a tiny streak in their black hair. Cutest. Thing. Ever.
YESYESYES.And when it (I can't decide either, but I know which ever it is has adorable black hair) turns four or five Nellie starts teaching it how to cook and she doesn't even care that the kid spills flour everywhere or breaks a dish she's just happy that her kid is enjoying it. And when it starts school someone in the Cahill family is always there to pick them up from school and the kid will tell them everything about their day because they're a little chatterbox. Sammy will always be eager to help with his/her math and science homework, and Amy with English homework and ahhhh there'd be SO MUCH CUTENESS
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And the kid would be like, practically everyone's kid, because they'd all spoil it, and Amy would teach the kid to read, and Dan would teach it video games, starting with like, Pac-Man. And Fiske would just be so happy that this little kid is SAFE and LOVED, because he couldn't always provide that for Dan and Amy. And then one day, Nellie and Dan and Amy would take the kid somewhere, like a park, or a store or something, and Nellie would start talking to another mom, but this mom would have two kids. And the mom would say something like, "Oh, is that your first kid?" And Nellie would glance at Amy and Dan, and then look back at the mom and say with a smile, "Well, that's my first baby, but s/he's my THIRD kiddo, actually." BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT NELLIE HAS REALLY BEEN A MOM SINCE 2008.
Sometimes I want Phoenix to come back to the series as a regular, but then I remember this and I don't. He went through so much while he was with the hostages and I don't want him to go through anything else.
Same. Poor kid...I'd like to hear about him in an epilogue or something though, just to see how he's doing.
