I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

(MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR thanks to the awesome ABBY for letting me know that Mission Hurricane is now searchable on Amazon!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!)

Okay. So. I only searched a couple of names to see how often they came up. I didn't want to spoil too much. But I was flipping through to see how much of it was available online (again, didn't actually read it but I was curious how much was available), and my eyes happened to fall upon this-

IAN TENSED.

HE TENSED.

LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE MIGHT NOT BE TOO HAPPY WITH CARA RIGHT NOW.

PLEASE. I'M PRAYING HERE.

CARIAN NEEDS TO FAIL.

GOODBYE.

Doublecross Book 3 Reveal!

Hello everyone! Guess what- we've learned the title of the third Doublecross book!

It is....

MISSION HURRICANE!!!!!!

I've got to admit, I'm slightly disappointed in the title. I mean, Mission Hurricane? It's cool, but it's kind of vague. I don't know. I just wish it gave a little bit more information.

So far, we know that it will be written by Jenny Goebel, released on January 26, 2016, and will have 192 pages. I hope that the cover is released soon, I want to know what it looks like!!!

What do you think of the title?

Story Time...

Come on everyone, gather round. It's story time!

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Grace Anne. And Grace Anne was an insane fangirl who ran a blog. But she was also...dun dun dun. A theatre kid.

And everyone knows that theatre kids have no spare time. Spare time? What's that? So, since Grace Anne ran a blog but had no time, she thought, "I know! I'll schedule these posts waaaaay ahead of time, and then I won't have to stress! I won't even have to log onto Blogger for these next few busy days."

Theatre kids obviously don't think about the fact that they are technologically challenged.

So, Grace Anne innocently scheduled her posts, and then went on with her busy life. What she didn't realize was that the evil Technology Demons stopped her posts from going out. And so one day, she logs back on and sees that she hasn't done a quote in four days.

Grace Anne was none too pleased.

So, she then wrote a post explaining all of this to her lovely blog readers, and promised that her quotes would resume the next day, after she had regained a tiny bit of sanity.

And she lived happily ever after! (Until the next tech issue).

The End

A Quote A Day!!!

So guys, I've got a *slight* confession.

I lied.

Yep, I'm turning into a Cahill. However, I think you all will like the results of this lie. If you recall, on September 24, I posted an announcement about our October theme here at Crazy For 39 Clues. Well, here's where the lie comes in. I had a lovely thought that it would be great to do a Month of Quotes during October, with a quote each day all month long. So, I happily head to my bookshelf to pick out some of the best quotes from the books. "This will be easy," I so stupidly thought, "There are so many good quotes, I'll be done in no time!"
Well, I was right about one thing. There are a lot of good quotes. A LOT. Which is how this problem began. I realized that I had a problem when I already had forty quotes, and I hadn't even gone through a full book. Forty quotes, thirty one days...yeah, I'd say I had a problem.
My name is Grace Anne, and I'm a quotaholic.
So I sat there, in agony. "What on earth am I going to do??? I have so many quotes...and so few days!!!!" After going through about a million different options (just ask my sister. I asked her for ideas more times than I can count), I decided that there was only one possible solution to my struggle.
A Quote A Day.
That's right, starting tomorrow, I'll be posting a new quote every day. Permanently. Is this a huge task to try to take on? Yep. Am I going to actually do it? You bet I am!!
So, although I lied to you all about the October Theme, I'm hoping that this will make up for it. I'm super excited to start A Quote A Day, and I hope you're all excited to read it!!!

Stay Lovely!

Doublecross Book One!!

Guys guys guys guys GUYS!!!!!!!!! AGH!!! Guess what was released on the 39 Clues website??? The new Doublecross book!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jude Watson posted the cover, along with this-
Who's excited????? Oh my goodness, I'm so excited!!! There are going to be four books in the series, with the last three being by...dum da dum dum.....new authors. I have to say, I'm not quite thrilled. I don't really like the idea of new authors coming in. The books could really go either way. I typically like Jude Watson's work, however, so I'm happy that she is heading off the series.
So, once my fangirling *slightly* wore off I got to analyzing Jude's explanation a bit better. I already have some other theories based off of something that someone else posted that I'll explain later. However, here are some of my thoughts.
So, The Outcast. This article says that it's a He. So, do we know for a fact that the villain is male? If so, is he the only villain? It also says, 'what famous Cahill villain from the past turns out to have an even deadlier brother?" Now, when I think 'famous Cahill villain', who comes to mind? Isabel, of course. So, does that mean that Isabel has a brother, and he is the new villain?
Amy taking orders from Ian. How will that go over? I'm praying that it goes well, but I'm a bit nervous. Amy isn't exactly known for her ability to be submissive. I just hope that they don't end up fighting over this.
The series symbol. In the past, we've had blue, red, green, and now yellow, each branch color. First series was blue, the Tomas color. In first series, everyone was fighting, much like a Tomas. Second series was red, for Lucian. Vesper One was a lot like a Lucian- ruthless and cunning. Then we have green, Janus. Pierce was very charismatic and about the process- just like a Janus. Which leaves yellow, or Ekat. So, we have an Ekat villain this series? Think back to Ekats we've experienced. My first thought goes to Bae Oh, but I kind of think he's a bit too old to be so deadly. Next we have the Starlings. They weren't featured in series three- perhaps they were off working on some experimental surgeries to cure Ned and Ted, and now they're back for the kill? They're definitely capable. Last, but not least, we have Cara. Coincidentally, she IS an Ekat, and she was just recently brought in. It would be easy for her to have been manipulating everyone, including Ian, the entire time. I may or may not be hoping for this option....
Last- "What may be worst of all is the Doublecross that the Cahill kids face". My thought process goes to one of three people. First off, Sammy Mourad. I am PRAYING that it's not him, because that would crush poor Nellie, but I just can't cross him off. Next, we have Cara. In my opinion, she is the most likely suspect. Since she was recently brought in, she could be here just to manipulate the Cahills. While this would kill Ian, that's what I'm hoping. It would open the door for Amian!!! Last, but not least, is the most controversial option.
Jake.
Please don't kill me, but it's a thought. He's not a Cahill, and I just don't trust non-Cahills. It also said that the Doublecross might be the worst thing of all. What would be worse to Amy than her seemingly loyal boyfriend betraying her? I can't help but hope for this. I. Don't. Like. Jake. Thus, I'm hoping that he turns out to be evil.
What are your thoughts/theories on this? I will probably post a LOT more on this, as I have until March to obsess over it. I need some people to talk to! Please, comment!! I really want some more theories!!!! :) <3

Flashpoint Announcement!!

(So, this was posted about a month ago, when I was able to find Flashpoint 3 Weeks before it came out. I was happy, can you tell? ;) )

Oh my goodness guys, I have HUGE news! Now, I don't know about you, but I'm a major fan of the 39 Clues books. (yes, they were initially meant for younger readers, but hey, they're good. Don't judge.) Anyways, I've been a fan for a few years now, and I've been counting down the days until the last book of series 3 came out. So I was at a local bookstore that typically resells used books, and I was just browsing around when my sister points out something on a table. I honestly think when I saw it, I nearly passed out from excitement- it was the newest 39 Clues book, Flashpoint, THREE WEEKS EARLY!!! I don't know how it got there, but I'm so happy it did! Someone working there said that the publisher could have sent a few copies early, so maybe that's how they got it. I also noticed a typo on the back, (They said that a 16 year old character was 15) so maybe it was a batch of typos? I honestly don't know. There were only two there, so I grabbed one! I haven't had a chance to read it yet, (I'm honestly a bit nervous. Please don't kill my favorite characters!!!) but when I do, I'll be sure to post a review of it for you all. I'm still so shocked that we actually found it!!! :) Haha, I don't think I let it out of my sight for a few hours after we got it! Let me know what you guys think in the comments!
