This passage kills me every time. No matter how many times I read it, I can never get over it. Ian losing his sister was absolutely heartwrenching. Why did you do it, Baldacci?
If I were Ian I wouldn't have stopped doing CPR I would have just kept going until I at least felt a big enough pulse that she would have stayed alive for a while longer
