I used to totally ship Amian, especially in this book, mostly because of this quote, actually. I thought it was cute, and then everyone converged on Amy and Ian and made the ship the series itself.
Lol, I remember my cousin smacking me with Book 3 only because I said I didn't got crazy over this quote.... ah, memories XD
Well, Amy and Ian used to be kind of cute, but just as Abby Beck said, everybody made it the series itself. Like, if it isn't Amy x Ian, it deserves nothing. Even CANON pairings (Amian is listed as semi-canon) don't get even half of the attention Amian gets... well, even the pairing was good (in my opinion it's cute, but a little... usual/cliche) some people made me dislike it (*cough*fanfiction*cough* ) But it could be worse^^;
Hey maybe I should do a post about couples.... XD I don't know ^^;
